Kiltix collar is an easy to use collar that destroys fleas and major types of ticks including brown dog ticks, bush ticks and paralysis ticks. The collar not only destroys ticks but also repels them.

Tick paralysis can be fatal, so prevention is essential if you live in a tick area, or are planning to visit one. Paralysis ticks are found in most areas of the east coast of Australia and can be active year round in warmer climates. Dogs and cats usually pick up ticks in their fur when moving through areas of long grass or scrub. Once attached, the Paralysis tick feeds on your pets blood, whilst also releasing deadly toxin. This toxin causes paralysis, beginning with a change of voice, weakness in the back legs and trouble blinking or swallowing. Without treatment the symptoms progress to paralysis of the muscles of breathing, resulting in death.
Safe for puppies over 12 weeks of age. Toxic when chewed, avoid use in puppies who are still teething. The Kiltix Tick Collar is most effective when worn continuously, remove only for swimming or bathing.

Usage Instructions:
This collar should be worn continuously. The collar is 66cm long and can be cut to size. Make sure the collar is neither too tight nor too loose, two fingers should fit between the collar and your dog's neck.
Precautions:
Daily tick searches are highly recommended for dogs in tick paralysis areas, even if prevention has been used.
The safety of Kiltix has not been established in pregnant and lactating females.
Kiltix is not recommended for use in sick or debilitated dogs.
