Plant trimming

Trimming your plants is a fun activity to keep your aquarium looking clean. It not only gives your fish more space to swim, but allows your plants more room to keep growing. Adding plants to your aquarium also helps with algae management, as the plants will be absorbing nutrients that would otherwise be going to algae development.

While on paper it may seem like keeping your aquarium maintained to perfection is a lot of work, it can actually be a fun and even relaxing activity to dedicate a little bit of your week to. The end goal is for your inhabitants to thrive, and nothing beats a tank of happy fish!
